For a Dutch and east Anglian dweller waterways both separate and connect. Brexit and Covid locked borders. My awareness of and the wish for Fluid borders inspire both weavings and performance. The similarities consist of the North Sea coast and other watery weavings linked to rivers. Differences highlight other coastal landscapes.

Fluid Borders was a performance created during Covid after the death of my mother and performed post Covid. Rivers as connecting places can imaginatively be considered fluid borders as well as fluid connections. The performance highlighted the need for continued connections across borders.
